Memo from Kim Miller Lundquist
(Director of Operations and Technology)
Dear Valued Partners,
Above all, thank you for your continued patience, understanding, and partnership throughout our system conversion. While this has been a challenging journey for everyone involved, we are excited to share that we continue to make meaningful progress and are seeing significant improvements across our operations.
Some Good News (Update)…
3rd Party / NBF / Bad Debt / Collection Assignment & Placement Files
The pause on these assignment and placement files has officially been lifted, and processing has resumed.
As expected, there is a substantial backlog of files to work through, and our teams are processing them as quickly as possible while ensuring the accuracy and compliance you expect from NBF. We appreciate your continued patience as we work diligently toward becoming fully current.
Custom Electronic Reports
For clients utilizing custom electronic reports (including payment and cancellation reporting), we continue to make steady progress in resolving the remaining data population issues.
While these reports were successfully configured and tested prior to go-live, the production environment introduced unexpected challenges that affected the data being returned. Our vendors engineering team continues to prioritize these corrections.
Secure Client Portal
With all assignment and placement files now flowing again, our development efforts have shifted back to the implementation of our new Secure Client Portal.
Our existing secure client portal (CAW) will continue to be used for secure messaging and secure file uploads.
Although we’re not declaring victory just yet, we’ve definitely rounded the corner. This conversion has reminded us that patience isn’t just a virtue… it can feel like a full-time job! We sincerely appreciate the grace, encouragement, and partnership you’ve shown throughout this process.
Thank you again for your continued grace, trust and confidence in NBF.
Yours truly,
Kim Miller Lundquist
